This is not the first hilo contest on stake, so I can't follow the argument that everything is so new that basic logic doesn't apply.
Since you made us mention it in the future on giveaways/contests we will deblacklist you as a little "thank you".
We still won't pay you for this one though.

Ryzen7 reacted to ccc222 in The Rep system on forums issue
People have been abusing of the rep system here and getting themselves high amounts of rep whether it be spamming with accounts or asking people to rep their stuff with incentive. This invalidates the whole purpose of the rep point system: Integrity, honesty, and trustworthyness. If users are going to be told the rep points shows how trustworthy someone is then it needs to be not so easily manipulated. Any scammer can come and make themselves trustworthy by rep points, it puts everyone at risk!

Catosa was just punished for abusing this, and his points removed, within the hour he got all the way up to 300+ rep points. lol has to be the most easiest system to manipulate lol atleast it looks like it. Those points went up like Chartbet hahahha.

I would not recommend trusting someone off rep points until the value of these points are better proven.

Ryzen7 reacted to ccc222 in Mutes need to be public
This is the first chatroom ive been too say where mutes are silent. Mutes need to be made public so that the person muted knows they got muted and so does the public. The others in chat can then question unjust mutes or help clarify on misunderstandings and such, and once we get a mutebot, help inform of accidental mutes.

In general its Rude to not be informed when your muted. Also I have been wrongly muted once and the people I was chatting too did not know i got muted. so they kept talking to me and there was no way of me to tell them I was muted or for them to know. No body thought i got muted because i wasnt doing anything disruptive.  No one was complaining, and I was not chatting any different then the rest. Thats why they kept talking to me having no clue i was muted.

The chatroom is for the players to chat and express themselves not some chatting bootcamp.

Ryzen7 reacted to ccc222 in POW or POS?
I thought proof of work is more like how bitcoin coins are made, by proof of work through mining.

Coins like clams are made by proof of stake, which is basically done by staking the coins you already have in your wallet. So the more coins you stake the higher chance you have of "mining" a new block i think.

So yeah as mentioned, rich man gets richer haha. i like proof of work better tho. Just cuz i think work is what gives value to money or anything not the money giving value to itself.

You can skip the step for mobile. You can also easily use
Google Authenticator extension for chrome: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/authenticator/bhghoamapcdpbohphigoooaddinpkbai?hl=en

There are also add ons for the rest of browser like firefox and opera.

@ktfor57 The ranking of hands, from lowest to highest value:
High card. If no combination can be made, then a player's hand is valued at the highest single card. If two players have the same high card, then the second highest card would break the tie.
Example: 5♣ 8♦ 10♠ Q♥ A♠ One Pair. A pair is formed when you have two of any of the same cards.
Example: 9♠ 9♦ 5♣ 8♣ K♥ Two Pairs. When more than one player has two pairs, the player with the highest pair wins.
    Example: 9♠ 9♦ 5♣ 5♥ 8♥ Three of a Kind.
Example: 9♠ 9♦ 9♥ 5♣ 8♣ Straight. A straight is a five-card hand consisting of a running sequence of cards, regardless of suit. If two players have straights, the straight of the higher card wins.
Example: 9♠ 10♠ J♦ Q♥ K♦ Flush. When all five cards in a hand are of the same suit, it is a flush. If two players have a flush, the person with the highest card in that suit wins.
Example: 9♠ 5♠ Q♠ K♠ 7♠ Full House. When a player has three-of-a-kind and a pair in the same hand, it is called a Full House.
Example: 9♠ 9♦ 9♥ 5♣ 5♥ Four of a Kind. If you are lucky enough to have all four of a given number, then you have a very powerful hand.
Example: 9♠ 9♦ 9♥ 9♣ 5♣ Straight Flush. Even rarer than four of a kind, a straight flush is made up of five consecutive cards, all from the same suit.
Example: 9♠ 10♠ J♠ Q♠ K♠ Royal Flush. The best hand of them all is this famous combination, formed by a Straight Flush that runs to the Ace, making it unbeatable. Odds of being dealt this hand can be as high as 1 in 650,000 deals.
Example: 10♥ J♥ Q♥ K♥ A♥ But with diamond is simplified just look for the same color and more numbers the better.

Ryzen7 reacted to SuddenlyBroke in Guide: how to enable 2 way authentication
To increase your faucet, one of the steps is:
    Set a two factor authenticator + 5%
For people that don't know how to do this it isn't very clear how it's done however. To help people I made this quick guide. Thanks to Meow who helped me in chat.
    What you need:
A mobile phone (Android for this guide).
    An internet connection (obviously! )
Step 1. Go to google play store on your phone, and download 'Google Authenticator'
Edit: or - if you are on a computer you could use Authenticator extension on your browser instead (thanks to @kurian for this tip)
Step 2. Go to here: https://stake.com/account/settings/two-factor when you are logged in.
Step 3. On your phone open Google Authenticator. Click the add button.
Step 4. Point your camera at the square thing that looks like a barcode on the screen.
Step 5. When you align the camera so the square barcode thing is in the center of the indicators on your phone, google authenticator will automatically recognise your user name.
    That's it you setup 2fa!
    How to use it
When you log in , you need to open Google Authenticator on your phone. This will give you a number and you need to enter this alongside your password on the Stake.com site.
The number changes very quickly, so don't open the app until you're ready to use it.
Advantages are you get a boost to your faucet, and also you improve your security on the site!
    Hope this helped someone
