  1. Thanks
Tarrterr got a reaction from StromShadow in I was a $5000 winner in the June 5th 100k giveaway. I can't claim!
Honestly imo that's fucked up. You used your money to wager and receive raffle tickets. Raffles are actively advertised so it can be extra incentive to bet.
If you win, I don't see the need to claim it the same day, it should be straight up sent to you without having to do anything.
Besides, where did the 5k go then? Because i don't remember any new winner being announced, so not only is it unfair to you (still mostly to you, though) but also everyone that took part in the raffle having one spot just removed.
    Hope you get this resolved.

Btw fun fact, you know how in blackjack you get dealt a card, then dealer, then you and then dealer again?

Well according to provably fair, every stake original bet has actually been incorrectly calculated.  With provably fair, they count the first 2 cards dealt as yours, and next 2 dealt as the dealers.
That's not how BJ works or has ever worked, even the animation is correct, but order of calculating cards is not.
For example just made a random BJ bet, see how first card is 3, 2nd K, 3rd 7 and 4th 9?

It should be 3,7 for player, and K,9 for dealer, yet that isn't the case.

When contacting support about it, they say it doesn't matter which card is calculated first.
That makes me question, if they can choose what card to use, from an infinite row of cards, can't they do that with every game by just choosing the most favorable outcome?

Tarrterr got a reaction from ubbey04 in Do you know how to cook?
I'm a chef but I'll be honest I don't enjoy cooking. Fun fact, most (when I say most, obviously there's exceptions, maybe it depends on the country but that's how it is in many European countries) chefs eat shitty pre-made food from the store, because cooking is too closely related to work.
The pork roast is one of my absolute favorite dishes. The rind is kept on, sliced extremely thinly (otherwise it will stay chewy) and sprinkle a generous amount of seasalt over it, no need to season the bottom. You can get fancy adding spices, like cloves, but for me just straight up salt works best.
Also quick tip, with roasts of any kind, they cook more evenly if the top is level, so you don't have one thin part of the roast on the bottom and the thicker part obviously raised higher. The easiest way to fix this is simply putting a vegetable under the thin part, raising it up enough to level out the roast.
I also love placing the roast on a rack with vegetables underneath, nothing better than pork fat roasted vegetables.

The result is an amazing pork roast with a crispy rind and fat that melts in your mouth.

Gothic 3 is one of my all time favorite games

Prey, not exactly an "old" game, but it's the original, not the shitty reboot that ruined an amazing game.

Project I'm going in, probably the game that got me into gaming

And finally Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends, got reminded of the game after seeing you post the normal Rise of Nations game, but I absolutely loved the shit out of this one

I agree that is annoying when it happens, but it doesn't seem that practical.

Chat is pure chaos as it is, now imagine people constantly thinking they won because they posted the winning bet before others, and then a minute later someone pops in and posts a bet to cancel their win. That's a lot more work for the host, checking every bet and bet time. Also when challenge ends, checking all new ID's because maybe someone got it faster.
Also queue the people just being slow at copying and claiming they were on mobile.

My advice to all mobile users is to play in desktop mode, it's just as fast, maybe even faster to copy and paste that way. I've won probably around 20 challenges on mobile, and never had the issue of copying being too slow.

Once the virus has blown over and tourism is at it's highest, this will be a lot easier, but even now it's technically profitable.
Use the $50,000 to secure a loan for a house. If you do enough research, you can find self-sufficient property where buying it and renting it out, has a higher monthly income than your monthly payment for the loan.
Of course this type of investments require you to do a lot of work (unless you hire someone do it for you, although that would minimize the profits) like dealing with bookings, cleaning, dealing with damage to the property (the visitors would obviously pay for the damages, it's still more work for you, though)
