The "20"

Featured Comment

Yeah it happens alot... but then again in blackjack dealer has the advantage where he can wait to show his cards by which time you might have gone over 21 and busted.

Like if you have anything under 17 when dealer's first card is 10 you will be trying to hit until 17+ and most of the time it leads to bust aka never getting the chance to see dealer's second card.

I think the trick is to do same bets everytime and never raise, you will make like 5-10% profit over a few hrs.

However some people have pointed out that sometimes you lose a few in a row then win a few in a row (I've experienced that alot as well) so maybe use that winning streak to your advantage?

If this is happening, try change your seed. Remember, the odds of getting a 10 value are 4/13, or about 31% (as infinite decks are used). So this situation happens very often given the nature of the values of the cards in the deck :) Best of luck playing!

Im feeling like 95% of the time the Dealer has a 10/JQK the 2ndcard is a 10/JQK too and he is winning with 20.

Is it only for me?

It happens a lot but sometimes is not, maybe like 10-20% the card is not 10 again :D.

Yeah because chance of getting 10/JQK are higher thn other cards. That's happened to me so many times.

well said... Im sure we can calculate the probability of getting two 10 value cards on the deal.
well im sure its online somewhere, ill probably google it and update you guys soon hehe.

but yet chances of getting two 10 value cards is most probably than any from my understanding.

I think it's hard to calculate it because we don't know how many decks on blackjack. It would be different if we know how many decks on blackjack

Well it's the provably fair system. It happens a lot to me but once I guess this happened two days back I was keeping on beating the dealer with high numbers around 19-21 xD .

Hi! no it's true your reason he often sends 20! I see that almost every time he has an ace and I no matter what card I have late I hit up to 19 every time I lose because he has the 20 in 90% of cases! the only way I have is to make a tie or 21 but it's rare! I earn a lot when I have a 17 and the bank exceeds 21, it's the blow I can most often do!
in general if the bank starts from the ace you're screwed from the beginning because it gets you out on the 20th every time!XD
good luck for the future!

I find that it is all too often occurance that the Dealer wins by edging 1 point ahead. I don't know but this happens once too often for me! :/

Yeah that happens pretty often to me also as for others I guess. You just get more odds of getting such than such. Also all goes up to odds etc. :/

Happens way to often, it's just so unrealistic, but so unlucky...

Lol, have a good evening.

Happened on me many times. I will explain about these 20 mystery.

Depend on the my experience playing blackjack, it was easy to get royal family cards (which it was same value of ten). When if you calculate with 6 decks (it was popular to play with in any casino than one deck). The probability to get royal family in one deck was 16/52 , count the ten number cards too, and it would be 20/52. If we implement that probability into 6 decks, it should be 120/312, which means it almost half chance to get card that valued with ten.

I don't know what decks that being used at Stake, it is 6 deck or only one deck, or even it was really random by generating that sha256?

Alot of times I get 20 while playing blackjack, press stand  and think in my head that i'm gonna win, and then I just see that the dealer gets 21.. and I'm like wtf xD

What ?  I thought when the dealer gets a 21 we can't hit or Stand because he has 21 and he wins for me this happened once the dealer just showed and I lost.

Hard to play blackjack if you care about what cards the dealer ends up with 😄

Just click hit hit hit.

Erm.... dont hit if you have a 17 ... no point in hitting unless its a soft 17

hard 17 always stop hitting

There is also still a small possibility of you getting a 4 in the next dealt hand especially in times where the dealer has a A/10/K/J/Q card shown. It can be sometimes worth taking the risk but of course the result would have to be bravely accepted then. :D

Well the question you Must ask yourself is this the small possibility out with a reward to risk to win and not bust by going over 21

From my understanding the probability wise it’s not worth the risk it is almost more probable to win or have more chance to win if you stand on 17 no matter what kinda sorrta

It’s hard to explain exactly what I mean computer simulations a really long run him back in and it always this end and 17 from my understanding

Well it really all depends on the next hand that is dealt as if the dealer already has a 20 or 21 in hand then it is a 100% loss in that case if you stood at 17 without hitting.

Yes, I have notice the same thing but if you have paid attention this also happens to you a lot. When you have a 10/Q/J/K the second card you hit is still a 10/JQK. When you know this is going to happen and you have something lower than 20,you should always play Hit because you are going to lose anyway. If you get lucky you can get a 21 or at least a 20 to be a tie but most of the times your are going to get a high card and pass over 21 so you automatically lost
