Does the house edge increase with a lower payout in dice?

Featured Comment

I'm not sure if this question has been asked and answered before. If so, mods please remove this thread. Is the house edge of 1% in dice consistent for all payout settings, or does it increase with a lower payout ie) Does a 1.005x payout setting have a higher house edge than say a 2x payout setting.

I agree with Snike that it should be in accordance to the stated House Edge, so supposedly it does not change according to the chosen multiplier of choice in Dice instead.

the house edge is seen on the games tab of stake and it's always the same. No changes depending on the multiplier :)

House Edge is an unchanging value, you were right. If it changes the edge when placing 1.005x, then with 9800x what percentage of it?

The house edge is fixed, but keep in mind if you are hunting a 1.005x payout, it will take many rolls to make decent money, and only one roll to wipe out you balance, so use low multipliers with caution. But again, the house edge stays fixed, regardless of the multiplier you choose.

Well, there is a way to check it out. Pick up the payout X's like low, middle and high. Run one billion rolls under each X flat bet and compare the outcome :) Notify us if you find something out.
