How addicted are you really?

Featured Comment

I'm a addictive gambler. I use to play whole day long now. And sometimes wake up from sleep at midnight and make a visit to gambling site. Life really wrong way now. I need to stop this bad addiction. Cause I'm losing my money in this addictive thing. But it's fun too. Have a lot of good friend at chat. Get entertain talking with them. That's a plus point. BTW I wish I can gamble less and concentrate in my real life much.

Since there are many people here who claim they are addicted, please check out this resource provided on the Stake main page:

http://www.gambleaware.co.uk/

Also, many countries have toll free gambling addiction hotlines, which I would encourage anyone here to make use of if you have a gambling issue :)

Well, although im betting most of the day here, i wouldn't consider myself as an addicted user. Also i am probably gonna quit gambling while i'm about to be a bitcoin seller at localbitcoins so i will start doing less than 20 bets per day.

im so addicted, i sell all my gadget just to be able to depo, i know a person who sell all his stuff, inluding his car just to play casino, that person is so dumb , need to give up everything just to gamble, life isnt that hard, just need to be wise on every decision, and if you know that your life will be on stake for betting , you better stop and rest for a while,

theres really only one answer to that. watch the movie "Two for the Money" with Al Pacino - then you have your answer

"You know, the best part of the best drug in the world isn't the high. It's the moment just before you take it. The dice are dancing on the table. Between now and the time they stop, that's the greatest high in the world."

Im totally in denial...   admitting you have a problem is the first step to recovery, except, I'm looking for a different type of recovery. I'm seeking that recovery where you win back money you have previously lost... not the one where you say bye bye to all the money you ever lost an go drink overly strong coffee with a group of fucktards an talk about the days....

Quitters never win.

I was very much addicted, it was such addiction that once I gambled with money that was to pay for fees of exam, hopefully, I will never be as addicted like that because I have learnt good lessons lmao. Currently I gamble after spending on all what I require and buying stuffs etc. Because, once busted, there's nothing but regret lmao

but whatever.... ill figure something out... for gas to get to work... thankfully i wont go hungry and have a roof over my head... but still im a prisoner .

i am going to therapy, well i stopped for a few weeks.... but gonna start again seeing my therapist for the addiction and get some real proffesional halp

i hope you are all doing ok

I feel the same way as you in some ways.  I myself have also put things that are important aside I mean not huge things but I would say that my self growth and public socializing have taken a back seat ride for quit some time now.

You call another person dumb because he sold things for gambling while you yourself admit that you sold all your gadgets for gambling xD

Control, take urges down, and think deeply.

What you lose, becomes the target profit for the next gambling session and it's a loop.

Withdraw when you are comfortable and enjoy the cash for a while!

It can be because of many reasons.

Mainly because of greed to become more successful.

But if you look at their life style, they didn't earn their success, cars, house etc by working hard.

They we're fortunate to born in a rich family and hence they don't value that hard work by selling all of fortune to win more.

It's more than just mere gambling addiction.

There's a difference between gambling addiction and addiction to win a little bit more money.

Majority of us here on stake thinks we have gambling addiction while on reality we just have a little addiction to win a bit more money.

But people with gambling addiction are a totally new type of thing, they will never stop even if they win 500+ btc !

However for the majority of us don't even have the balls to bet 0.1 btc even at 1.01x (98% chance).

We love money (which is normal) but they love gambling, that's the difference ;)

lol....the first symptom is to denied it!  Like the alcohol issues.  I guess that all who gambles is a potential "can't stop to gamble"  person, specially if you win.  Do I have problems?  Yes, specially when I do not when to stop, is not that I spend to much of my time gambling, but when I do I barely found the exact position where I should stop gambling, so becomes losses and frustration.  This is me.  Good luck.
