Oops ... Accidentally sent too much

Featured Comment

Hey, it happened to me once with an amount of 0.01 to a stranger who asked for a loan. Then I kindly asked him to send the tip back, but instead of this, he said ''thanks!!'' and made some hilo bets, then I had to threat him about a report and so he returned me a 0.005. While it was my mistake and supports could't do anything, I just got over it while the next hour the same user asked me for a loan, so this guy got a permanent mute. This mistake made me ragebet and loss a deposit. However, I learned my mistake which is to avoid tipping and loaning strangers while the only thing that will happen is to never get back a single tip or even to get rid of the pm's, so far I'm tipping only friends of mine who i trust.

This has happened to me once haha! I was doing trivias and sending the 1k to the players who won. Then I said I was going to do one last trivia and @Zaynab Shah answered it correctly. I wanted to tip 1k but sent 10k by mistake. At the time my balance was only 25k to even 10k was a big amount haha! But being the sweetheart she is, she asked me if I actually meant to send 10k instead of 1k. And because she was nice enough to ask, I said "Yeah I meant to send 10k" hah! I think people like her deserve it you know, caring for others. Some people wouldn't even say thank you properly! haha.

Well, that's the only time its happened to me! xD I've always been careful for tipping. But It has happened to me often where I send too much to Edward by mistake. I was going to go 5k for 2x on dice, instead went 50k and lost! hhaha That was a frustrating and funny experience at the same time.

I believe in karma too but it's a she because that player is probably doing the same thing to other players, but I get it.

And maybe not today, and maybe not tomorrow but eventually karma will catch up !

Has anyone ever became paranoid about sending a tip to something thinking 2 seconds later that they sent too much to find out that they undertipped or sent the right amount? I always become like that when I have a much smaller balance then what I used to have, I guess it's to do with appreciating what you have actually got. When people are rich I guess they just throw it away like it's nothing but actually having a smaller balance actually makes you appreciate things even more then what they would be like actually having a decent balance. I think this is a good thing to be more cautious on what your tipping. Maybe getting paranoid is a good thing but it does stress me out for some reason, I really don't know why but it does :)

People are so twisted! This site, or I suppose the industry itself attracts the greedy, and the manipulative. So strange to see these facets of humanity so amplified though!

This is life, you can always make a mistake. Moral - carefully check what you are sending. I usually try to be fair) I saw it myself when they sent back too large a tip, so sometimes they got a bonus for honesty) Be kind. It is not 1  mill dollars.

Yes I have (I think 50k instead of 5k satoshis). But I don't think anyone has suffered such mistake more than Eddie himself! He once tipped a user 1 (I repeat, ONE) whole bitcoin by accident!

I'm sure it has happened to almost everyone at some point.  I have been on both sides of it a couple times, one time I never received the mistake back.  Live and learn I guess...

This mistake is quite common. Simply because there is no dialog box saying "are you sure you want to tip 0.xxxx amount?" If there are any, at least we can check if we placed the correct numbers because just placing zeros on front is sometimes confusing and makes us input a wrong value.

Yeah and i wish i could hurt them but i quickly got over it. In the end its my fault, and if i were them id prolly keep it too if the person was a stranger.

There was this one person though in duckdice who had .1 in his balance (bitcoin). The site was suffering very bad lag and he must have pressed to rain a couple times or it glitched. However it happened, he unintentionally ended up raining his entire balance to the chatroom. I had recieved like 540k bitcoin, i remember betting on the telegram app on my phone and just seeing this appear. I go to my browser to see what happened and see people asking others in chat to return the coins. Like nobody returned anything, i think there was like 2 or 4 but not many at all. but the dude took it better then i expected. I was impressed.

Luckily, it hasn't happened to me... yet (and hopefully won't)

I know with any tips I give out I'll probably never see anything back from the users I tip so I always try to double check the amount or just use the min tip button.

yeah but it can be the easiest to do when hosting trivias or rollhunts or things like that. When excitement and emotions are at their highest.

Honestly i feel like it should be the casinos duty to have a double check to force players to do a second review on tips. i mean anything that deals with our money should be taken seriously right? even tips, there should be a double check when its money being moved.
