📢 Dark forum theme released

Featured Comment

In preparation for the release of Stake 2.0, I have developed a dark mode theme that matches the style guide of the new platform. I am aware that people hate not being able to choose their styling, so the option to switch back to the old theme is available in the footer at the bottom of the forum.

I have released this theme early in preparation for our big launch in the coming weeks. Based on the design direction, the admins have decided that a single theme for the site is more professional, and therefore this style will be the only one available for the Stake Casino platform going forward.

Feel free to leave your thoughts and feedback on this new design. In regards to the old white theme, it will be missing various styling features that will build up over time as I will only be maintaining the dark theme going forward, as its derived from our style guide.

Thank you for the official announcement. Could you rename the themes? Currently it's "Stake" and "2take" which sounds... weird 😛

Also I'm hoping you could keep the Stake logo at the bottom in the same place. Currently the logo + theme button are in the center for dark theme, and left corner for light theme.

Actually the color scheme is very pleasing to the eye..if the option for the players to customize there own theme for their own reply section box would be cool..

I love it, it blends in perfectly with the dark mode of the Stake site itself, and it looks really sleek. As AlphaStorm said, it's softer on the eyes. The glow around certain users' posts is pretty cool too. Nice work Dan 😄

Edited by Pirnitho | also the new edits are cool! (like this one)

Very attractive and elegant (in my opinion)  ^_^  . I like it very much . But the Color for Moderator (Purple) is too bright for my eyes (Or is my PC screen too bright? xD )

I Love It :D

you can use your own styles for forum elements if you have knowledge of the CSS 😉Screenshot_5.thumb.jpg.9b16b25a8bbac45650c643fcd5a698df.jpg

I have just realised the stroke around the posts for staff and mods isn’t displaying properly on some mobile devices. It looks like a white line, instead of the colour that was intended. Will look to fix this on Monday.

Hey. I tried an interesting method for notification items. You might like it. https://gyazo.com/f85f97ea2c699615859da021b64b35ce

.ipsButton_important.ipsButton_medium {
    width: 50px;
  height: 30px;
  background-color: rgb(4,181,0);
  margin: 10px 0 0 1px;
  border-radius: 1;
  animation: shadow 1s infinite alternate;
}
@keyframes shadow {
  from {
    box-shadow: 0 0 5px 1px white;
  }
  to {
    box-shadow: 0 0 9px 2px rgb(255,6,6);
  }
}
}
