Do you think you will gamble when you will be older than 60?

Featured Comment

Most people on stake excluding me and few others are pathological gambling addicts even if they don't like the term or deny it. We all do gamble but there is a difference between responsible and irresponsible gambling. I have seen they gamble their families money away when they are the sole earner to feed their wife and kids. My question is will these gambling addicts or you will gamble when you turn very old and gamble your son's hard earn money? Will you be able to control the urges by then? If not, what steps will you take before you reach such a level? Or will you be shameless enough?

Why not? The thing is that you need to live in the present moment, I am convinced that you can not make plans for the future. The past and the future do not exist, there is only the present. Well, in general, if I live, then of course I will definitely play.

I probably will gamble when I'm older than 60, but it will be dependent on how well I set myself up for my future. If I don't save, then I'd be a fool and wouldn't be able to afford it. I make it a point never to gamble more than I can afford to lose. At 60, I'd be nearing the age of retirement so I'd have to see how much money I will have saved up.

gambling is a fun pastime

This is definitely true. Most old people here in the Philippines has gambling as their favorite pasttime lol. nothing to do much when you're old and can't travel/work.

When I'm old and retired I guess all I'm going to do is gambling. What other pleasures there will be at that age anyway? ;) Maybe having fun with grandchildren. :P

Our generation is completely different from the previous one. Some of us were brought up with technologies/crypto/gambling and so on. So I don't think that we'll feel shameless or whatever in the future. It's your business if you want to gamble, just go for it, nobody is going to criticize/judge you just because you're old

in my opinion life is also part of gambling so how many years will I still gamble but when I have a family I will still be like this gambling just to find pleasure and friends no more to risk everything you have is not too much. and I also think that for those who have a family, they are always happy when they go home to work and are welcomed by their wives and children who are destined to be with you.

sure why not gamble is no age limit :) as long as you enjoyed, life goes on, gambling is really addictive you need to set a limit and apply  discipline,,never gamble gamble money that you cannot afford to loss that simple principle in gambling, :) family is priority always, so never gamble the money that already set for them. :) i like the stake slogan (play smarter) because if you not play smarter you will loss everything :)

I think gambling is great fun - as long as you don't go too crazy with it.  Compulsion is no good under any circumstances, whether gambling or otherwise.

Where I live, most retired folks like to go to local casinos and on getaways to places like Las Vegas or Atlantic City.

I can't see any reason not to!

I will definitely gamble when I'll exceed 60 years old. I mean, there will be not much stuff to do at the free time. Okay, 60 isn't an old age so I might gamble from times to times but definitely much more than right now since I can afford every bet. Also as I know, older people are more likely to gamble more wisely so I might have plenty of gambling knowledge until then!

Well i am not quite sure i didn't think of it at a older age but probably i would have to go with no because I'd be old and can't see how much i would be betting in each bet.
