Are Stake Promotions via Social Media working?

Featured Comment

So I know that Stake.com are promoting their services in many ways, here is the list of ways they are spreading the word about their website:

  • Discord
  • Telegram
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Snapchat

So now the questions comes down to whether their money being spent on us joining their website is actually working or whether older players are gaining these prizes instead?

Do you think that Stake need to work more on the outside so that it brings in players instead of promoting their services directly on their website?

I know that a lot of the money Stake bring in as a form of revenue has gone mostly towards Telegram challenges in which I find is almost impossible to win. If Stake are going to promote their services, should they make it more possible for the newer players to win since if they do sign up to the website and join in the action, their first reaction would be "this challenge is not possible to win" - which can de-favour the site from legitimacy. I'm personally autistic the way I think myself so I don't know whether others actually agree with me or not.

I'm just hoping that Stake.com can spread their advertising money and challenges and ways to win on the site in other places too. The rewards on Discord for example are really low and I've personally noticed that there has been a decrease of participation. Who wants to join an event with 100 players + to only win $1 every 3 hours? Not many by the sounds of it. But obviously the same 100 players that join in normally.

Have Stake got any more ideas is the question in the form of promotions?

Coupons are a great way to promote their services but not ideally ethical in long term business proposition.

I would like to see some more advertisement by forms of banners and adverts on YouTube etc.

Anyone would like to share what they hope Stake should do with their revenue and whether they can start prioritising their site for a more populated player-base?

THey have one on youtube. That is why there are new users that are being tipped 5 dollars(no string attached) that they can withdraw right away. This one is not available for us new users but really attracted new users. Don't know if they are attracted to stay or just to get the free money though.

I would love it if they change that discord giveaway to a rollhunt giveaway just like in rollhunt bot. This way, although there are hundreds of people joining, people can have better chances than people with multiple accounts or have invalid users win. Just clicking it to join a random raffle realllyyyy gets boring and disappoints too much after months of not winning a single dollar. :(

Yeah I noticed that @KiXxnTRiXx - all these so to say "new" accounts in the Telegram challenges that you have never seen before. I reckon nearly all of them are alts but obviously, I can't be sure of that. I just hope Eddie can start taking action against those who make multiple accounts to play. It's funny because Eddie stated that you can win more then once on your main accounts..

Every new player is obviously an Alt xD

I think our marketing is not perfect by any means. We're quite crazy with our approach. We don't always take the most analytical approach. We like to think the "ripple down" effect of our marketing is what brings us most new users. Most websites will track the success of a campaign through the direct number of sign ups as a result. Or the exact change in metrics throughout the duration of the campaign. I do not like this approach. It doesn't account for the numerous other factors that come into play. I guess you could say we're quite careless and just do what "Feels right".

With that said, does it make us money? Maybe. Is Stake growing quite rapidly? Yeh. Would it be growing without our marketing efforts? Probably. Should we subsequently stop all marketing efforts with giveaways? Nah I think they're fun:)

We're slowly getting a little more technical when it comes to this sort of stuff, so you might see some promotional aspects that are completely canceled as a result. I'm hoping we've been making some good calls though!

Stake is actually a relatively new online casino, as it was only established in 2017. Whether the promotions work or not is up for debate, but one thing's for sure - they sure make Stake a good place to be for the existing members here.  The challenges are almost impossible to hit, but since zero bets are allowed, it makes it so much funner :D

In my opinion stake is doing well on Telegram , Discord etc . But except on Facebook and Snapchat they ain't doing anything big but it is understandable because Snapchat and Facebook isn't used by everyone.

mastheads and display ads though effective, are not the most efficient ways if it's not retargeted.
Stake is not advertising for awareness of the site but for new users to deposit, play and stay.  And....

"new players" in this case doesn't necessarily mean, anyone out there to come and register to Stake.
Because NOT everyone is a fan of Cryptos. and Not everyone is trusting to onlines sites that involves money.

stake is still young. branding of the site is still being established.  (plus the legitimacy, fairness and all those stuff)
focusing first on the people who are already familiar with the service is the best way to form and test that brand.
that is, old users to stay and players of other gambling sites to try out stake. :)

i never see to win any of the  twitter fb or instagram ones... feels liike its due to selectism, but of course im just saying that cause im bitter i dont win =D and trying to be optimistic i guess hehe

dont by any means take this as a complaint..... im happy... broke and busted but... i feel stake listens to me now from time to time..

promo wise. i really think you should get on that analytical train though.. keep the fun going but.. get the numbers if you can... numbers never hurt.. imo at least

If anyone knows me then they know that I'm usually the first to harp on the whole social media as advertising deal.     I think I may have to put my foot in my mouth because I think that the Telegram giveaway challenges everyday are a huge hit and I personally enjoy them ( I wish they were like 2 or 3 hours sooner than they are lol) .

I think that every was of promoting a site is going to have it's good and not so great things.  So far i say its working.

The promotion in Telegram is not planned well, there are a lot of spammer and alts accounts being use, and nothing there in challenge time aside from spamming lol. They have already spent time in social media promotions and should need to go further now and prioritising website improvement :)

I am pleased that Stake is in my favorite social networks. As for me, the biggest excitement was in the discord and Twitter. It is a pity that a little abandoned these directions. You could just change a little approach.

Well, while most money that users wins out of stake's social media goes back to stake it isn't big deal for stake's profits. Anyways all these social media events are advertising Stake which is good for it's health aswel! These events are also making us be more active while it also ensures more deposits and stuff. For me there should be more events while it's a good thing both for us and Stake.com.

Youtube is such a platform where they don't advertise these gambling sites because face it many of the youth people watch the videos and if a gambling site ad pop up there then that would look bad for Youtube.

You forgot to add Instagram and all crypto related forums, specially Bitcointalk.

I am pretty sure they are doing their best to advertise the site everywhere but it would be cool if the community would help, starting with a healthy chat for newcomers

I don't think Telegram will last forever giving as much as they do away. It will eventually calm down just like discord, it's only a matter of time until it does in my opinion unless they can prove me wrong. But every time I say that, I tend to be right further down the line.

Oh yeah don't even ask about bitcointalk because they run promotions where you equip the signature and then you get some payment from them if you are very active.

Everything has an end so you will always be right when you say something will not last forever and will "eventually" be shut down.. I just wonder why you even used the "eventually" word to refer to it lol
