NBA off season 2019

Featured Comment

We can talk here about all the trades, draft selection, free agent signings for the upcoming transfer window.

It started big, Anthony Davis got traded to Lakers for Lonzo, Ingram, Hart, 4th pick in this years good class and future 2 draft picks from first round. Lakers finally got another superstar player to play along LeBron and will chase third one as a free agent since they don't have anything else to offer in trade deals. Heard rumors that they are interested in Butler, Kemba, Beal, Irving. They were interested big time in Klay Thompson but not so much after his big injury since they don't have the time to wait for him.

As for New Orleans I think that this trade isn't bad but they should have gone for Kuzma by all means even if that means less amount of future picks as he is way better then other three players they got. Still their is talk that teams are contacting them over that 4th pick with offers that might intrigue them, maybe they can add another good asset to the team. Their starting five for next season looks like this: Lonzo, Holiday, Ingram, Zion, Randle which is very talented roster. Still they need to have good bench and to start developing so that in couple of years they can be in play offs with a chance to go to the end.

Irving opted out of contract with Boston for next season and will most likely go to Brooklyn or Lakers, doubt he will go to Knicks as they lost in draft lottery and with Durant injured there isn't any great free agent that will sign with them so he would play on his own, doubt he will do that. I think that Boston should try to trade Hayward or at least get him back to shape, his performances last year was awful, I know that he came back from bad injury but his play was not worth half of those 30 millions per year he got. In my opinion they should also start Scary Terry in point guard and give a lot of playing time to Smart/Tatum/Brown back court. They also need one good center or power forward sicne Horford can cover one of those two position easily.

Will keep you updated as soon as I see something new going on. :)

It's great to see Davis actually made it to the Lakers since that's exactly what they needed. Anyway Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart didn't have a good contribution to the team last season but I'm honestly sorry they lost Ingram since he was a great player and probably the best in the team after LeBron. Anyway, they got Davis and he should be a good replacement for Ingram. It will be interesting to see what will be their next player. They have a lot of options available but the only problem is they do t really have a lot of players available to offer for a trade so I don't know what can they get. Will have to wait and see but anyway I'm expecting a comeback from LeBron and his team to make the playoffs this year and show everyone who's the goat.

good at least lakers kept kuzma... he was the one that out shined ball and ingram.. lebron cane work with kuzma now there is a big man that is very dominant in the inside 2 more pieces is need.. to have a good set,, if they can get klay thomas or irving.. but it seems they have to wait a little longer. so they wont go over their salary cap.. lebron needs another outside threat... and a guard that can play on and off the ball...if everything goes smoothly is gonna be a crazy season.. where lakers can be the dominant team in western conference... 2020 champs if injuries doesnt come around,.,

Davis trade is a big one of course, I also think that it is good for Lakers that they managed to keep Kuzma in the team since he was the best out of that young core. Lakers will need a lot of veteran contracts on minimum salary along with some youngsters to fill 15 spots in the roster as they are looking into adding another star player that can function with LeBron and Davis. For now top picks for that are Irving (who ran away from LeBron so I kinda don't see a point in him agreeing to join Lakers), Kemba (he pointed out that his priority would be staying with Hornets on a long term contract), Butler (he is not a shooter so will not spread the floor much which is what LeBron really needs out of everyone else in the team), Kawhii (he is the best player in the league and from what I heard he is either resigning with Toronto on 1 year or going to Clippers as he doesn't want to play with LeBron). Klay is out of the picture since he already let everyone know that he will resign with Warriors and will miss next season. Maybe bringing back Russel if Irving goes to Brooklyn, that would probably work the best for Lakers. They also need someone like JJ Redick, a spot up shooter who can score in high percentage. There are a lot of pieces that needs to come together for them to win it next year, health of their top players which will be their biggest problem as Davis has glass legs and LeBron isn't getting younger so he can encounter another nagging injury like in previous season.

Boston is encountering a lot of issues for now, Irving will leave 99.99%, Horford opted out of last year 30.1$ million as he is willing to test the market. Word is that they were supposed to agree to a new long term contract but talks were broken when two sides realized that they are miles away in terms of what Celtics are offering and what Horford is demanding so he is looking elsewhere now. He is much more important than Irving to the team as he was the "glue guy", playing awesome defense and organizing offense whenever it was needed. Last year it looked like the team has a lot of potential to go all the way after reaching Eastern Conference finals without Irving and Hayword but with those two in the team they fell short in semis and chemistry issues throughout the year was evident. Rozier and Morris are both free agents and they kinda need them to stay. Ainge will have a lot of work to do some magic and convince Horford to stay or find someone who can replace him well. Also, they will have to either move Hayword or bring him back to form since he is receiving 30 millions per year and what he brought last season was maybe worth 5-10 millions.

Sixers are also having issues with resigning free agents in their team, Buttler will probably go, Harris is looking into cashing in on his good season, Redick will require certain amount of millions to stay as well. They also rely a lot of Embiid being healthy, Simmons is still without a shot which is insane in today's NBA, a PG without the ability to score from the outside at all. His play making skills are good but without a shot defenses can just seal the paint and leave him alone which they did a lot in play offs and he was useless in those situations. I mean even centers in the team shoot better... :)

There are some news about issues in Houston between their top two stars, Paul and Harden. If that is true they are screwed since Paul has one of the worst contracts in the NBA where he is to earn around 120 millions in the next three seasons. For a player who is often injured and a bit old that is way too much and doubt anyone will take on his contract via trade. They lost a lot last season with Ariza signing elsewhere, they needed his defense and it was evident that teams can score against them as much as they want. I am not a fan of their isolation plays since that never works in play offs, team defense will always win against one man heroics (in a 7 game series, a win or two is the most that iso play will earn you). Another rumor about them is that everyone are available for trades except Harden so it might be busy summer in Texas. :)

I was glad to see Anthony Davis go to the Lakers to join LeBron, I'm a big LeBron fan and have followed him since he was pretty young as I am from the same area he is.  He broke the hearts of us Cavs fans, not once but twice by leaving, but he did finally bring us home a championship.  I like that Kuzma is still there, and I could never really stand Lonzo, but that's just me.  It will be interesting to see if they bring in another huge name to make a new Big 3 to join LeBron and LeBrow...

Salary cap will play a big role in finding that third piece or complete team for that matter. Not sure how much they can offer to players, will know more in two weeks probably once free agency start and we see who will they chase. Kuzma can be part of the big 3 there but they need a lot of shooters and good defensive players to step up when LeBron and Davis go to the bench for a breather. :)

This is all very true.  Kuzma may be able to step up into a bigger role and complete the Big 3 for them.  I also see that Kawhi has expressed interest in going home to LA.  Boy, oh boy, what a HUGE 3 that would be if they could finagle a way to pull that deal out of their collective hats in LA!

Kawhi will never go to Lakers, he already told that several times. He was Iverson fan and disliked Lakers while growing up which is weird as he is born there. Clippers or Raptors for him seems most likely.

Draft night went mostly as expected. NOLA got Zion (not much to say about him, best prospect since LeBron according to experts), Ja Morant was widely expected to go to Memphis especially after they traded Conley to Utah (awesome passing abilities, great speed and nice finishing). Third pick went to Knicks, they selected RJ Barrett who will bring them nice all around play, he had 20+ points, over 7 rebounds and over 4 assists. Then there were some trades with Atlanta managing to use their picks nicely and improved their young core with two great players in Hunter and Reddish getting both good defensive potential in Hunter and attacking skills of Reddish who struggled a bit with consistency in previous year at Duke but he was like third or sometimes fourth option there so not unexpected for young player to have such issues.

As a steal of the draft I will go with 25th pick that belongs to the Portland, they took Nassir Little who was projected top 10 pick, he is expected to be nice addition to already strong team. With Nurkic getting healthy and standard contributions from Lillard and CJ they will be a threat to everyone in the west. Another surprising drop was Bol Bol son of Manute Bol, he was even considered top 5 pick prior to getting injured after 9 games played last year, he got picked up by Denver in 44th position (via trade with Miami Heat).

Warriors made a trade to jump in front of Clippers since they heard they will pick Smailagic from 56th place (GSW had 58th pick) so they got tall Serb via trade with Pelicans on 39th position. That one is in particular interesting to me as he is my fellow countryman and have been playing for GSW affiliate team in G-League Santa Cruz. Reckon they have sights on him and will have a place in their rotation in the following years.

There were couple of trades on the Draft night as well. Saric went to Suns from Minnesota with 11th pick for 6th pick. Aaron Baynes was sent from Boston to Suns as well in attempt to clear salaries a bit. TJ Warren from Suns went to Pacers. And that is just the start, interesting summer is ahead of us indeed.

Wow the amount of analysis going on here is insane haha I can see you guys are all NBA fans, in particular @Darko

I don’t really indulge in sports-betting but I do enjoy watching the matches! Slightly bummed that Raptors took the last championship, damn this Kevin Durant for being injured lol.

Hahaha, yeah, I really enjoy watching and commenting on games. :) Of course with spending 6 years working in local casino I got to spend a lot of time watching football and basketball a lot, even tennis for major tournaments. I am always happy to share any insights and my expectations from games, maybe some will be able to cash in on them. :)

Atlanta is all up for repeating process that 76ers went through but in much better way I feel. They already have amazing group of young talented players, used their draft picks really good. They have Trae Young (20), John Collins (21), Kevin Huerter (20), Cam Reddish (19), De'Andre Hunter (21), Bruno Fernando (20) and Omari Spellman (21). Future looks bright indeed for the Hawks, all of them will have enough playing time in the next season. They will have to take some bad contracts from other teams due to minimum salary cap, not sure how close they are too it.

I am still waiting to see what will happen with free agents, whether they will be staying with current teams or will majority move to new ones in attempt to win a ring. :)

many sports analyst are mentioning quite a  few players that would complete the  roster for the los angeles lakers... what is crazy right after the pick up of Davis,, the names that they mention are super stars on their own.. can whole franchise can revolve around them. with the salary cap also a big factor some of this players might take a pay cut because knowing the dou of unabrow and king james.. would be a guarantee of championship run.. first was to mention kawi,,, that to me is  a no go.. since he carried. and yes everyone would agree carried a only a playoff bound team.. to  championship glory.. he will get paid and make his mark as one of the greatest player that played the game.. then here comes butler.. traded from chicago to memphis now to the phlly.. he is a great player.. but to be honest he can be a secondary to lebron but wont take it.. he fits perfectly with that phlly squad.. young and hungry.. that team is one player away to be become a major threat in the eastern conference.. kevin durant has his name in the rotation, but to be honest about that.,. he is a broken merchandise.. erving.. is most likely ended up going to new york. because he not looking for a championship run.. he is looking for a spot where everything is focused on him.. new york would be that spot. what the lakers need to do is resign mcgee for davis secondary and rondo for the pg position.. those 2 are solid players.. and will take little pay.. that would be enough for 2 more pieces.. reddick would be a great pick up for the 3 point range.. walker can be also a good addition.

The issue with Lakers is also that they made mistake in Davis trade and cause of that they can't offer max contract to any superstar player. Kawhi has said long time ago that he has no intention of joining Lakers nor play with LeBron. From the recent reports he will probably sign the same contract KD has with GSW or what LeBron had in Cleveland after he got back from Miami - two year contract for around 70 millions where second year is player option. That will allow him to chase defending the title won this year and to abandon ship if things go badly. Honestly Raptors squad isn't getting younger so he would be stuck there with Siakam only as Gasol, Green, Ibaka and Lowry are well over 30. His goal was going to Clippers as he wants to be closer to home and to have his own team, Lakers lost the moment they brought in LeBron.

As for Lakers search for PG they can have Rondo but still need one more player that is good off the ball as well and as main handler since we all know that LeBron is playing Point Forward, ball is in his hands almost all the time when he is on the court. Kyrie wants the spotlight of New York so he will probably go to Brooklyn Nets this season who said they will try to keep Russel as well but I don't see them playing together, I might be wrong though. Russel is one of the players linked with Lakers now, Magic left their front office and he was the one who wanted to trade him and to select Lonzo (facepalm), his decision was to let Randle go as well as Brook Lopez and we saw how all three of them thrived in new teams. With looking at Lakers roster it is exactly those three that would fit in perfectly with LeBron/Davis/Kuzma trio as they would spread the floor and make constant pressure to defenders with their ability to score in so many ways.

Butler and Middleton were some of players linked with going to Lakers, Bucks are about to offer max to Middleton so he will probably stay there but really unsure about Butler and where he will go. Not convinced he would fit well in Lakers due to his inconsistent long distance shooting, he is great defender and one of best two way players but not a shooter. Still think that JJ would be awesome fit due to his awesome percentages. For Center position they can bring Lopez back since he can shoot three's and Davis will defend the paint good with him. Russel and Randle could be brought as well but I think that they will have to pay some luxury tax as they will breach salary cap.

Thompson and KD are out for them the moment they had season long injuries, LeBron really doesn't have much time to wait and can't waste another year without competing for championship. Horford could be good fit for them if he wants to chase championship instead of money but the reports are that he is waiting a team to offer him 4 year 100+ million contract so he doesn't fit Lakers with that expectations.

Jimmy Butler might be a houston rocket.. omfg.. there is a good chance.. with the line up with chris paul and harden.. big 3.. maybe it could be.. there is chance he might stay both team can actually give him a full contract.. is gonna be a bid off most likely.. western conference will be a tough place to be in most certainly.. Klay thomas in the other hand..is considering to be a clipper,., wtf.. will that be  move he take.. i dont think he can be a solo star,, he needs players around him also.. this gonna be some trades that will shock people.. this  off season gonna be  itch. and this western conference will be the strongest has it ever been.. competitive wise. damn can't wait.

Houston don't have cap space to offer contract to Butler so they can do that maybe after they trade Chris Paul but no one will take him so not sure where you read that. Klay Thomas? Are you referring to Thompson from GSW? He will not go anywhere, already said he will sign extension to the max contract there. Leonard might go to Clippers but for now it seems he will sign with Toronto 2 year deal with player option for second year. Free agency starts in several days so it will be interesting to see which deals will go through soon. :)

I am not from Canada :) I really have no feelings toward Toronto in any way but reason behind his decision to stay there could be wanting to defend the title from this year, earn nice money for 1 year and then go to Clippers who need to bring another good player to the team so they can compete for the tittle from then on. I might be wrong and he goes on to sign for Clippers this summer.

Also, just checked any Houston stories regarding Butler and yeah, was right about it. They don't have space for him in salary cap, they will have to trade either Paul or Gordon/Tucker/Capela package which would be a lot. They are looking into some sign and trade options with Sixers and looking for third party to get involved in the deal to make some trade exceptions. Sixers are also really interested in signing Butler to 5 year deal so not sure if they will go for the trade unless Butler clearly states he will not stay in the city of brotherly love. :) And sixers need to sort out Tobias and JJ contracts as well since they are free agents as well.

news just came in. AD wave the sign bonus.. 4 million dollars.. that gives the lakers cap space to get one of the top free agents. omfg,, AD  is player that is hungry for a championship... that shows he wasnt there for the money.. he know what can happen from the start. Big 3 holy.. who can it be,. rumors are saying Kawhi is linking up LA,, but which one, the clippers or lakers..butlers name in the mix.. and irving.. walker is out and klay staying with golden.. kevin sees an open east coast conference..these next couple weeks gonna be the making a new champ franchise..

Not just that he waved that 4 million bonus but Lakers managed to move away three more players to Wizards and can offer max contract to a superstar which is amazing move. They are targeting Kawhi or Irving since Kemba Walker agreed with Boston for 4 years/140 million usd deal. Tons of players are linked with Lakers since they only have 3 players in roster for next season: LeBron, Davis and Kuzma. :) They need and are interested in everyone. Mostly they need a lot of so called 3&D players, some who will be a beast in defense and spread the floor for LeBron and Davis, pick up some return passes and knock down 3's in a considerable rate. The first that comes to mind is JJ Redick for shooting guard, if they get Irving or Russel they could use defensive intensity from someone like Beverly who can defend almost everyone and can even score when needed. I could even see them going for Brook Lopez at center position just cause he is the best shooter among them. :)

Kemba to Boston is really good fit, he will do much better for them then Irving which is a bit odd since Kyrie is better player but when it comes to the team with young stars Kemba is much better solution since he is less of an isolation player, likes to involve others. He didn't have those other options really in Charlotte as that team is constantly filled with mediocre overpaid players. Waiting now to see what will Boston do regarding Horford and center position. They traded Baynes to Suns and if Horford really doesn't come back (that is for now most likely scenario) they will need at least one great player on that position. One of their best chances to do something significant in the next season could be getting Gordon Hayward back into the form prior to awful injury at the start of his first year in Boston.

I am still hearing a lot of rumors about Leonard, new one is that he wants to play with Durant on the same team, preferably Clippers or Knicks. That kinda surprised me and I am not really buying it since KD will miss entire season and that would rule out Knicks as Leonard can't do anything alone with them. Clippers on the other hand have a great coach, really decent team that was doing great without any superstar and could benefit from Leonard joining them alone let alone when Durant gets healthy. The reason why I thought it was a bit crazy story is that there were same story that involved Durant and Irving, now that stories kinda got silent and this one is suddenly up. If Durant is to miss entire next season his best choice would be to resign to max contract with the Warriors even if the stories about him blaming them for the injury are true and here are my reasons. Number 1: as he will not play why not take the max amount of money possible as only Golden State can offer super max contract to him. Reason 2 is mostly why it would be good for GSW to do that is that if he stays and wants to be there they are the best team as soon as he recovers along with Klay, if not and if he really is pissed at them they can trade him to any team next season for tons of picks, young stars or even couple established stars that could bolster team depth. It could be win/win situation for both the team and him. If he wants the money GSW is go to team, if he wants to try something new perhaps Brooklyn if Irving signs there.

irivng is with KD  to the nets,, and butler seems to be a heat to starbutt his star status... walker is at boston.. klay staying at golden state.,Now kawhi is thinking clippers or lakers unless toronto will give a figure that he cant refuse.. to be honest the raptors is  really a cinderella story suppose to be.,. having kawhi his first year. in a team with well known players but not that star status.. a team that would go to the playoffs but not pass the first round.. to become the champs.. is a story that would be told for years to come.. but was it a fluke?? i really want kawhi to stay in toronto.. and see if he can do it again. that will certified him the greatest player of all time.. no for scoring and more trophies..but a disrespect for not mentioning him as a great player.. jordan didn't achieve his championship without pippen kobe without shaq or lebron without wade and irving.. kawhi actually did it on his own..

betting on basketball in general. that is what sport betting is about.. there is winners and losers.. and betting the way you can.. you can bet on a losing team and come out as a winner.. is all how you bet.. on moneyline.. on quarters.. are point spread.. the team can lose by 5 points.. but if the losing team have a point spread 6+ you win... losing team can make you profit.. especially if you parlay,, not just one team. but for the entire games that is played that day.. yes there has been games that had been fixed. it was shown through the lakers series with the kings.. but lakers would have been beat them with or without those refs.. they had the better team.. the refs called  those fouls and techs. just for the point spread that was given.. college basketball is most notorious in fixed basketball games.. just hope is in you favor.,,

So free agency started and it is time to write a bit about it. :)

These are most notable trades and free agent signings so far:

Brooklyn signed Irving and DeAndre Jordan as free agents and got KD via sign and trade (gave away D'Angelo Russel, Shabaz Napier and Treveon Graham to GSW). Also, they signed Temple on 2 year deal. Considering that Durant will be injured throughout the whole season most likely I don't expect them to do much better compared to previous season unless they find a way to add more talent to the squad.

Boston compensated nicely when Irving decided to go to the Nets, they managed to get Kemba Walker who is more team-first oriented player and should be good fit with young core that Celts have. However signing Kanter for 2 years to replace Horford is bad defense wise, offense will flourish but not sure who will close the gap on the defensive end since they even traded Baynes to the Suns on the draft night.

GSW signed Klay to max deal, 190 millions for 5 years although he will miss almost entire next season and managed to at least get Russel in exchange for KD who could go away as free agent and leave them with nothing. There has been some agreement with owners that he will do sign and trade which eventually granted GSW sidekick to Curry in offense and someone who can give him some rest while running the offense. Rumors are that they will look to trade him during the season for couple good players to add more depth once Klay is back and healthy since there wont be any place in starting 5 for him then. They traded Iggy to Memphis to create cap space for Russel, I am really not a fan of that move since Iggy was one of their best players once playoff starts and he even earned one Finals MVP title with them.

Mavericks signed 5 year deal with Porzingis and gave 4 year contract to Maxi Kleber. Signed Seth Curry for 4 years thus bringing him back since he was in Texas for 2 years prior in his career.

Miami is engaging in multiple team trade deals to clear space for Jimmy Butler. They already sent Josh Richardson to Philly, Whiteside to Portland and Harkless that they got from Blazers got sent to Clippers. Butler is signing 4 year contract worth 142 million. Trading Goran Dragic is now one of the things they are looking into since he is in last year and will hold value for teams that are in rebuild phase or into tanking for better draft picks.

Philadelphia brought back Tobias Harris from free agency on 5 year 180 million deal and managed to sign Horford to 4 year deal as well. But they lost Butler and Redick, got Richardson for Butler but Redick went for free and they are now looking into adding more shooters into the team prior to season start.

Bucks did some interesting moves, they got back Middleton, George Hill and Brook Lopez but lost Brogdon to Indiana. Additionally they added Mathews to replace Brogdon on veteran minimum for 2 years and added Brook's brother Robin to bolster center position.

Orlando signed Vucevic to 100 millions and Aminu to bolster wing spot in team as he is good defensive player that will add some intensity on that part of the court. :)

Indiana lost two playmakers, Corry Joseph went to Kings and Collison retired from NBA to focus more on religion and family. They added Brogdon who can cover PG position and Lamb to be there when Oladipo is not fit to play. Their biggest issues are that both Bogdanovic and Young left the team as they lost awesome 3 point shooter in Bogdanovic and good defensive player in Young.  Brogdon can provide awesome shooting percentages since he is the latest addition of 50-40-90 club from last season with Bucks. They seem to be more offense oriented with TJ Warren changing Young as starting PF and it could be fun watching them when they are all healthy.

New Orleans got JJ Redick who will spread the floor nicely for Zion and managed to get Favors from Utah as a starting center until their draft pick matures a bit.

Denver picked up team option with Milsap and agreed to pay him 30 million $ for next year meaning that they will have that free next season to improve team with best option available. Also they extended Murray's contract and basically they committed to keeping their young core intact and to rely on building up from the players they picked in drafts.

Utah got Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic and Ed Davis while losing Rubio and Favors which makes them much much better then last season. They were desperate to add more guys who can shoot the ball well and with good percentages and got just that in Bogdanovic, Conley is also not a bad scorer at all and he is big improvement over Rubio in all areas. He just needs to stay healthy. Davis is bit weaker then Favors but he is there to be back up only and he will do fine in that role.

Knicks failed to attract any star player to join them for yet another year. So they turned to other options and signed Randle, Bobby Portis, Elfried Payton, Taj Gibson, Reggie Bullock and Wayne Ellington. They will be there to compliment their draft pick RJ Barret, I expect most from Randle and Payton, all others are there just to fill cap space.

Sacramento resigned Barns for 4 years, major reason toward that decision is probably coach Walton who was with him in GSW. And Divac made several good moves in my opinion. They added Dedmon and Richaun Holmes as two centers, Dedmon shoot 37% from 3 point last season and is greatly improving in that department, it will allow them awesome floor spacing. Holmes is different type of center, more athletic and he is expected to be part of lot of alley oops from Fox and Bogdan. Then he added Ariza who will bring much needed experience and defense intensity, one of the best 3&D guys in the league plus signed Corey Joseph as back up playmaker.

Clippers resigned Patrick Beverly on a 3 year deal and are in pursuit for Kawhi Leonard for now.

Chicago signed Tadeus Young and Satoranski, so far it appears like they will suck for couple more years.

Memphis resigned Jonas Valanciunas for 3 years and are going into rebuild with keys of the team resting with Ja Morant and Jarren Jackson. They got Igguodala from GSW but there are talks that he will be traded so still unsure if he will be there when season start.

Hornets lost Kemba to Boston and they took Rozier from Celtics as a free agent. Still waiting on them to make more moves since they lost Kaminsky to Suns. They look like weakest team in the east, Knicks have better potential and Chicago has bit better players.

Suns solved their PG issues by adding Rubio, they made some moves during draft night as well that got them Baynes as center, sent away TJ Warren to Indiana and replaced him with Frank Kaminsky. Really unsure how they will progress, they depend a lot on Booker being healthy.

Spurs resigned Gay for 2 years and added DeMare Caroll also on 2 year deal. They require several pieces to be sure playoff participants, unless they make some moves or Pop produces another unknown player they could potentially miss it for the first time after 20+ years.

Detroit signed Rose on a 2 year deal, hopefully he will be a good fit with Griffin and Drummond.

Portland got Whiteside via trade to fill Kanter's position, brought back Rodney Hood and signed 1 year deal with Hezonja. Extended Lillards contract to super max as well. Will be a major threat again this season.

Houston simply resigned several free agents, Austin Rivers is back with 2 year contract, Gerald Green on 1 year deal and Daniel House for 3 years. Still waiting on moves from them, there were talks about moving Capela, Gordon and PJ Tucker to clear space,

Lakers so far looks lost, especially if Kawhi declines their pitch which I think it is really likely scenario. They added Unibrow and moved everyone except LeBron and Kuzma. Added Troy Daniels only so far and they need players in every position, if I start naming everything it will require another topic and way more time. :)

Washington got Ish Smith and Jordan Bell while losing Bobby Portis and Satoranski.

Oklahoma signed Alec Burks, Muscala and Nerlens Noel but still not sure about the length and salary for any of them.

Toronto waits on Kawhi to make decision. In the meantime Marc Gasol picked up player option for another year there and Danny Green is looking for new contract.

Atlanta waits patiently to add only players that will help her get over minimum salary cap as they have tons of young talent who will be given every chance to develop.

Minnesota is looking into trading Wigins and were looking into adding Russel before he went to GSW.

Cleveland is also really quiet so far, guess they will keep on tanking and developing young players as soon as they trade Kevin Love away and get rid of JR Smith and Tristan Thompson.

kevin love... can be a fit with the lakers.. right.. this would be james is use to playing with him.. plus a big man that can shoot 3's the lakers are lacking.. Carmelo name is being tossed around.. so is Jr smith.. but i doubt Jr will go to the lakers.. they can resign Mcgee  or rondo.. to fill up the remaining cast..  with the salary cap space. with or without Kawhi. there are still good players that can help out Davis and Jebron... having a couple more vets.. for 1 year deals... the next couple weeks will have everyone glue on espn.. but i can see carmelo being added and rondo. kawhi right now would just be a bonus..
