GOOGLE FOR VIDEO POKER

Featured Comment

two days ago i was searchning on google how to win i video poker.i searched about 3 hours to find something.

From search i found many guys saying things and strategies not to lose and bla bla bla

What i undedrstood?

Video poker is a nice game to gamble with more possibilities to win than roulette or slots. Also there is a strategy to control loses.

This STRATEGY is too take breaths and not wait to win in just a single game a fortune

BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT  is tha stake.com uses the best Video Poker game with the lowest edge 1%.So i totally recomend to try this but the most important is to take breath and play like a turtle not like a rabbit

Good luck and have fun guys

Yes this is true in a way. Poker in general requires a lot of patience as you can't hit a good hand all the time, yet the bigger hands tend to be more rewarding.

The same goes with Video Poker. It's about knowing the hands and the probabilities really. If you always try to hit Jacks or higher or two pairs you're most likely to keep loosing over many many games with the house edge as well.

Also, trying to hit the bigger multipliers all the time say from flush till four of a kind, again you may get unlucky and not hit some of them for a long run and bust in the end - depending on your base and bank roll.

The best strategy is to play each hand on its merit. Play the hand with the best odds, yes sometimes you should take the risk, but only if it seems like a worthy payout rather than just jacks or higher or two pairs.

Eg. If there are 3 of the same suit and a pair lower than Jacks (say 10). The odds of getting a two pair or three of kind holding the 10's is greater than hitting the flush, but the flush would be of a higher payout.

There are many ways you can play video poker and it depends on your style and what not. But trying a sort of martingale strat would most likely end up a failure. :P

I love VP. But what I don't understand is how can the autobet and auto recalculate which is the winning move the one that increased our chance of winning which lessened the prize for 4 of a kind?

Since we all can do just what we think is a good move, and making it go faster with the auto bet, what's the difference?

So if blackjack somehow get an autobet feature that picks the strategic hit or stand in the future does that mean the winning prize will be lessened as well?

You can only increase your chances of winning by playing with optimal strategy. The autobetting on Stake is the perfect way to do this in my opinion. Playing like that will give you the lowest house edge, thus the greatest chance of winning.

well yea it has the lowest edge.. because there is no obvious house edge unlike the other games.. .99 in limbo and the 1.5 full house in diamond poker... those you can actually see while playing the game... with video poker.. you see how much you get for each hand.. all the payout and what hands you can possibly get.. it is a straight forward game like it should be.. wish all the games here was like that. they can profit without the house edges.. players trying to get the high multiples should be the house edge alone since the difficulty in getting those is very high..

For better results, I think you need to play in manual mode so that you clearly understand which cards you need and for which combination. But auto mode are also not the worst way, it can also make a profit.

Optimal strategy is definitely the best way to minimize losses, but will rarely get you that big multiplier unless you're dealt a perfect (or almost perfect) starting hand.  It is one of the most straight forward game by far, in that you have at least some say in the outcome by selecting your hold cards.

That's what I said to people who were spamming on challenges post ''whats a royal flush''. lol I know that topic isn't about that but had to mention. No strategy is perfect by the way, Vpoker has almost the same odds like rest games so, google might not be able to find you a proper strategy.

I didn't try it yet, I will when I get higher balance. I had 3 days ago, but because of damn plinko I busted. Maybe if I went to play video poker things would be different lmao

It is a game of pure hand and luck and if you dont have any of them then you are out of winning and onto loosing streams you need a good idea and also luck to win this type of game xD .

I do not like to play videopoker. I know some guys love to play it but for me I am a huge fan of real poker, online as well as in physical poker rooms. Once you felt the rush of real poker you just do not like videopoker. In videopoker there is nothing involved beside just pure luck like in any other casino game. In real poker you also depend on a little luck. if you not get proper hands you can't win unless you can bluff very well. but what I like about real poker is you require skills and you can improve your poker skills. You can calculate the odds, your range and multiple other things. and in real poker rooms you can take advantage of people behaviour. if you learned to play poker and you are very good at it you can analyse a lot just by looking to your opponent, analyse his gameplay and much more.

So thats why I just do not like videopoker, you just play against a machine.

No strategy will help over the long term for any game. I do not like Video Poker a lot and play Blackjack and Baccarat more often in comparison for the following reasons:

- They are a lot more fun and certain strategies tend to minimize losses

- The live dealer versions(Blackjack and Baccarat) tend to help me win more often when compared to playing VP

Like 3kpk3 said, No strategy will help over the long term. But because video poker is so straight forward and has that low house edge, strategies tend to work fairly well if you can keep a good pace going with luck and being dealt the right starting hands. Other then that it comes down to just luck like anything else you play at stake. That being said, I've seen very few hit high x's in video poker, maybe its not as popular but I rarely see ANY video poker bets placed in the chat to show off. Kinda weird if you ask me.

All winning rates between all players are the same. Without any best strategy, the best way to not be bankrupt is to control your emotions. Do not try to continue immediately after bankruptcy.

If you were to ask me, I would say that I think Video Poker works on the same basis as Slots just without the Lines part of Slots. :D  Nonetheless it is a rather interesting game given that the rare multiplier available on it.

I always play video poker for a short time, I often lose if I play long. especially if hunting royal flush, then I better play dice or limbo if hunting high multipliers, it is easier to hit high multipliers on dice and limbo than hits 800x royal flush
