williamshennie9 782 #2 Posted June 19 I wouldn't suggest gambling if you worry about losing the money. I see gambling as an entertainment expense, so I expect to lose the money, so I am not sad when I do lose it. If you approach a casino with the mindset that you will lose, then losing won't be so bad.

Is it a pleasant feeling, or does losing make you uncomfortable? the answer to that question might mean that you should stay away from gambling if it causes you more stress than joy. polor12 203 #6 Posted June 19 gambling is an entertainment that can affect you emotionally and at some point physically.. is all psychological.. with a tough mind and the acceptance before you start playing.. knowing you can lose and not win.. and you can win then lose it all.. but hardest thing is win and withdraw.. know your limit. set a limit that is even better, and stick with it.. if you start doing that and not let losing cloud your mind.. you'll have fun more and it set a tone to know that you can control your spending.. is not play smart is to spend smart.. 1 joserizal0425 reacted to this
Etude 571 #7 Posted June 19 It would be actually a wise move to only gamble what you can really afford to lose without qualms when it comes to gambling then the stress factor is lessened for real.
nattekut 151 #8 Posted June 19 your question is how to be a good gambler. Couple things you need to keep in mind only play with money you are willing and able to loose. Cause in 95% of the cases you will end up loosing your deposit partially or even entirely bust. Be happy with any profits. If you want be able to make some money out of gambling then regularly withdraw. if you keep it in your account you will get tempted to keep playing or to play with larger amounts. Take one of my things as example. couple weeks I deposited 0.05BTC. I could have decided to play larger basebets from the start but I decided not to do so. everytime I reached the minimum withdrawal of 200k satoshi I instantly withdrew to my wallet. In this way I was sure that even when busting at the end I would have at least have some returns on my wallet. When I quit I had 0.04 left so my balance was 0.01down but in meantime I made 8 withdrawals of 200k. So actually I made 600k profits. it seems not that much but well 12% profits on my starting balance seems pretty decent. never ever chase losses. If you bust do not deposit with the intention to recover losses. you will start betting to big and have huge risk to bust that second deposit as well. So if you decide to take a new shot, first clear your mindset and don't think about the loss you made in the previous run. Never let gambling take over your social life. a good gambler knows his limits. Gambling must be some kind of entertainment and not a fulltime thing 1 joserizal0425 reacted to this

nuvong 3 #15 Posted June 20 To become a professional gambler, you need to read many Gambling materials. Learn tactical fishing and the winning rate of each game. There are many games for playing with a high winning rate, like Roulette. The winning rate is about 50% when the choices are red or black. With different games, you need different tactics. 1 joserizal0425 reacted to this

BLXN 232 #18 Posted June 20 it has to be done casually, and with a single purpose/goal backing your gamble. many gambles make the chance of loss almost impossible to avoid, and so most people will never actually gamble well -- this was no more than entertainment for me for a long time, because i could not separate my business from my personal life, and so i became enmeshed with my losses, and my inability to concentrate/focus on my goals. all of your losses are lessons earned. if you gamble once, and make 10-15%, and tuck it back into your pocket, you have successfully gambled. ivaylo2000 46 #19 Posted June 20 To become a good gambler you must have some very important qualities. You need to know how many percent of your balance to bet so that you do not get into bankruptcy quickly. Another thing that matters is knowing when to stop betting and withdraw the win. One of the most important qualities is that you can control your anger and take the losses safely. Only in this way can you recover the lost and make profit again
CntryBoy 190 #20 Posted June 20 I used to be similar in that winning and losing created extreme highs and lows. At the end of the day, we all know that you can never win all of the time. We just have to understand that gambling is what it is.... you win some and you lose some. The key is discipline.... know when to stop if you're down, and know when to cash in your chips when ahead. Bimfo 18 #21 Posted June 21 When you are in a casino or you are on a gambling site, losing money is not a bad thing, you just have to recover slowly and steadily. But not by rushing and chasing losses, because with that you can get a long streaks of reds because you want to recover fast. Wrong Wrong move. Sometimes, you even decide to wager all your balance on a 1.01x payout, thinking it is safe, and it will better to recover fast. That's also a wrong move. Because the house edge is 1% doesn't mean you can't lose money. Actually, the 1% edge can turn this world upside down. Gamble only what you can lose and move on. When you lose, take it as normal and try and recover slow and steadily. You can do it. You just have to do it slow and steadily. And sometimes, watch twitch live videos of real casino gamblers (Stake). I love watching @Edward when he streams on twitch. He will lose, but he has a way to recover slowly. So I always wonder, if Eddie can lose, then recover, then who am I not to lose. Just find a way to recover. PS: Another thing is, when you meet your target and you ought to withdraw, please withdraw very fast. Don't decide to wager all on a low payout so as to get some few satoshis. You may end up losing all coins. When I get 3x or 4x my deposit, I always withdraw. I don't allow anyone to tell me. Because I have made that stupid mistake before of going a little further after I met my target. I busted into the pacific ocean. It was bad and I was annoyed with myself. Since that time, I learnt my mistake and I became a better gambler. 1 joserizal0425 reacted to this
DreamStage 35 #22 Posted June 21 (edited) Well from my own side i do believe in my luck and that in the next bet i can lose or win. If you understand that you can lose and that you can accept it then you should be ok losing. On the other hand if you feel kinda pressure you should not be gambling at all as that means you are worried in busting your life savings Edited June 21 by DreamStage
polor12 203 #23 Posted June 21 to be a great gambler... is to have money that you can spend without worries..to be a great gambler know the games you play and know when to actually walk away when you win big.. to be a great gambler you gotta have the mentality to win and noting else. again to be a great gambler while having that mentality you still need the money even though you lose it doesnt bother you what so ever,, but to be a great gambler.. just dont gamble at all there is better things to spend your money on then gambling.. that is a gamble itself.. 1 joserizal0425 reacted to this
