Discipline is the key [Tips for newbies]

Featured Comment

What I will write here is obvious for advanced users, but I’m creating this subject to help newbies. I will explain to you how you can use the vault to make two balances on your account with second one in the vault as your insurance. Easy to say, but harder to do. Is it really? Let’s find out. Remember this will not teach you how to win in the long run, but will give you some clues and help you on self-discipline. This is just an exercise. Just the training before you can gamble with bigger money.

Here is the example which starts with $10 deposit which we will use for the purpose of this exercise only 20k satoshi from this deposit. In my opinion if you plan to build your balance it would be extremely hard to do it with less than 20k especially when you are new. First I would recommend to deposit minimum of $10 to stake. But whatever you do please do not begin with gambling with that money. It would look like a lot of satoshi, but it’s not really much and this balance would melt away very fast with unexperienced user. That’s why I recommend to leave 20k on your balance account and transfer the rest to the vault.

Now you should learn how to at least double your 20k balance. I’m not going to teach you here about strategies because this post would be too long and there are other people who explain this better and you can always look on the forum for this. All we want to do here is to teach you self discipline. We are just playing here, we are not talking about winning hundred of dollars or thousands of dollars. Forget it. Before you can even think about something like that you must learn how to double your $2 balance. How to turn 20k to 40k. Once you do this then transfer 10k or 20k to the vault. Now you have two balances. One in your main balance is 20k and in the vault you have another 20k you just made + the rest from your $10 deposit. Repeat the process again. Work with your 20k and try to double it and then send part of it to the vault.

Actually I would recommend to try as many times until you bust your 20k in your main balance. See how many times you were able to double your 20k. This will teach you a lot on how the stake works and what you can expect from the games. Remember if you were able to double your 20k balance at least once you already won! You transferred your 20k to the vault and in the vault now you have your full deposit of $10 and extra 20k in the main balance. It means you have already beating the odds at the casino! Instead of loosing you are winning. That’s a good sign. However if you lost your 20k balance you can always transfer new 20k from the vault,  you will have a few chances until you ran out of money in the vault.

Try not to use your entire balance within one day. After you are done with your 20k exercise and you feel more confident you may try to do the same process with 40k and try to double it and repeat the process. And so on…

Yes, I agree in the game is important discipline, self-control and willpower. If you do not have these qualities, then all the funds that you send to Vault you remove and lose. Do not bet all in, but try to increase your balance by small bets or by hunting for high multipliers.

I once implemented the strategy but it turned out that I wasn't ready to do it and I still took all my balances in vault. it is a good self-control strategy if we routinely run it and if we can really control our emotions when we are in a losing state of gambling. I think if someone is able to carry out this strategy he will succeed and be able to withdraw every day to his wallet. because I tried it in a few days and it really worked but I failed when I did not make a withdrawal to the wallet after I had enough balance to move to my wallet.

I agree with you but this is much easier said than done.   I have been gambling for years and I don’t have discipline except maybe one day a year.   It is a very good idea though.

as most people say easier sad than done. its a bad cocktail gambling and safe. Most gamblers do not have the skills to manage their bankroll in a decent way. I think in casino gambling it also doesn't have very much use. cause even by applying this strategy 95% of the people will fail and end up busting everything. Because even how much effort you put in the house edge will kill you eventually

Right very well said.   Even the most disciplined person could very well bust in the end.  But appreciate your advice

Great info above!  Thanks for sharing.  Title of topic is very interesting, I just would like to include "if you have a strategy then discipline is the key".  Nothing works without a plan, is my opinion.  Good luck

I agree with you @Paecga129 .  While the advice is good it is alot easier said than done.  Also its about having fun thats what gambling is supposed to be about is fun.

well man you tried best to explain everything in short topic & and I appreciate it but there is always dark side even if you are a pro gambler you can't guaranteed wins. its better to search tricks about site and about game in which they are going to gamble dice or whatever ... they need to learn about it then need to acknowledge about house edge , probabilty of payout which they are aiming for :)

Yes I agree wholeheartedly that discipline in gambling would be a very great asset for a gambler in order to enjoy more success or at least suffer less losses than a undisciplined manner of gambling. A well handled bankroll management is what first comes to my mind when relating discipline to gambling. :)

That’s the problem and difficulty with it, the ability to remain disciplined and keep to the plan is the thing that matters!

Most of the time it’s really easy to say but for me, difficult as hell to do. Maybe once or twice it’s okay to stick to it, but when you get lucky more than a few times all hell breaks loose lol.

self control is for sure a big part of it

Well said, just like most things in life, you need discipline to succeed. Impatience will only lead to fast losses and eventually you'll reach a point where you continuously chase losses rather than slowly building off of your initial wins. Just remember small wins are better than big losses.

I agree that stopping at double is a great idea. I have a idea that i've wanted to try but haven't given it a shot yet.

Basically, you start with whatever amount, say 500k sats, you make %10 a day and reinvest that %10 every day so the next day you make %10 of 550k sats, from there you do that for 60 days with no weekends, after that you'd have 1.5+ btc. It sounds crazy but its true.
