Chelsea F.C. vs FC Bayern Munich on Tuesday, 25th of February 2020, 20:00 GMT

Chelsea will be welcoming Bayern Munich in the first leg of the round of 16 at Stamford Bridge, London on Tuesday night. Memories will be stirred of Chelsea's finest hour in the UEFA Champions League because Chelsea and Bayern Munich’s last Champions League encounter was the 2012 final, where the Blues won 4-3 on penalties at Bayern’s Allianz Arena.

The Blues' have not been so good recently, winning one of their last five games. Not to mention, Chelsea have lost the formidable midfielder N'Golo Kante in several important matches in the coming weeks. Kante suffered an abdominal muscle injury when the Blues were overthrown by Manchester United 2-0 in an English Premier League match a few days ago. But still, keep in mind that The Blues have never lost at home to German visitors, winning six of nine fixtures,

Bayern is playing fantastic in this Champion League season, they won over Tottenham Hotspur’s 7-0 and became only the seventh team – and first from Germany – to win all six games in the UEFA Champions League group stage this season. Bayern are unbeaten in their last 12 European away games (W9 D3), scoring at least two goals in all but a goalless draw at Liverpool in last season's round of 16 first leg. Keep in mind, Bayern were the only side to collect maximum points in this season's group stage, and finished as top scorers with 24 goals.

With these kinds of results, maybe it will be tough for The Blues to fight against Bayern Munich right now. But, the victory was very important for Frank Lampard's troops considering that in the 2nd leg they had to travel to the headquarters of Bayern Munich. Not to mention, from 2005 to 2019 the two teams met five times. Chelsea won twice and Bayern three times.

Possible line-ups

Chelsea: Kepa; James, Christensen, Rüdiger, Azpilicueta; Jorginho, Kovačić, Kanté/Mount; Hudson-Odoi, Abraham, Willian.

Bayern: Neuer; Pavard, Boateng, Alaba, Davies; Kimmich, Thiago; Coman, Müller, Gnabry; Lewandowski

Prediction: Chelsea 1-1 Bayern

S.S.C Napoli vs FC Barcelona on Tuesday, 25th of February 2020, 21:00 ECT

Napoli narrowly won 2-1 over Brescia in the 25th Serie A giornata at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti on Saturday night. These results bring positive impact to Napolil before entertaining Barcelona in the first leg of the Champions League last 16 at the Stadio San Paolo on Tuesday night.

Napoli haven been playing good lately, they won 5 of their last 6 matches. The last victory against Brescia made Napoli stand on the sixth position of the standings in the table. In addition, the achievement motivated Insigne and his friends before competing against Barcelona on the European stage. It will be tough for Napoli to win against Barca, especially with lame conditions, because Napoli certainly will not be strengthened by Koulibaly in the match, because it is still in injury condition.

Same as Napoli, Barcelona have been playing good too lately. They won 5 of their last 6 matches, and they stand on the first position of the standings in La Liga right now with 55 points. They won 5-0 against Eibar and 2-1 against Getafe was the latest example of how tough this team is at home. But in this tournament, as Barcelona knows better than anyone after the last couple years, strong play at home isn’t enough if you’re vulnerable on the road, and Barcelona’s have lost to Betis when they visited them last week.

This will be tough to decide which one will win this game, but Barcelona won 3 of 4 matches against Napoli in history. Not to mention, this is the third time Napoli have reached the knockout stages of their six appearances, and they never progressed further than round 16. As for Barcelona, they have progressed past the Champion League round of 16 in each of the last 12 seasons, the longest run in the history of the tournament.

Possible line-ups

Napoli: Meret; Di Lorenzo, Manolas, Koulibaly, Mário Rui; Fabián Ruiz, Demme, Zieliński; Callejón, Mertens, Insigne

Barcelona: Ter Stegen: Roberto, Piqué, Lenglet, Semedo; Arthur, Busquets, De Jong: Messi, Griezmann, Ansu

Prediction: Napoli 2-1 Barcelona

Real Madrid CF vs Manchester City F.C. on Wednesday, 26th of February 2020, 20:00 GMT

Real Madrid will compete against Manchester City at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Wednesday night. This will be an exciting match between them because Manchester City have never won against Real Madrid - they have faced each other 4 times, each occasion in the Champion league, with Manchester City losing their 2 away games at Santiago Bernabeu and drawing the other 2 at the Etihad.

Real Madrid won only 2 of their last 5 matches, including a 2-2 draw against Celta de Vigo last week. Recently, Real Madrid took a shock defeat at Levante's headquarters. Real Madrid defeated 0-1 due to conceding in the final period of the match. That became the only goal in the match and ensured Madrid down to the 2nd position in the Spanish League standings. This will be a tough match for Real Madrid considering that Real Madrid star Eden Hazard suffered another ankle injury during the match between Real Madrid and Levante’s and he certainly won’t play against Manchester City and El Clasico versus Barcelona.

As for Manchester city, they won 3 of their last 5 matches. Recently, they won against Leicester City 1-0 at King Power Stadium, Leicester City headquarters, in a continued match in the English Premier League on Last Saturday. This result will bring a positive impact to the team ahead of the duel against Real Madrid. This match won’t be easy for Manchester City but still, they will take advantage against Real Madrid considering that Eden Hazard won’t play in this match

Keep in mind that, Madrid's home record against English clubs is W8 D6 L2 and City's last trip to Spain brought a 4-0 loss at Barcelona in the 2016/17 UEFA Champions League group stage, their heaviest defeat in UEFA competition. They have won only twice in their ten visits to Spain (D1 L7).

Possible line-ups

Real Madrid: Courtois: Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Mendy; Modrić, Valverde, Casemiro, Kroos; Vinícius Júnior, Benzema

City: Ederson; Walker, Fernandinho, Laporte, Zinchenko; De Bruyne, Rodri, Gündoğan; Mahrez, Agüero, B. Silva

Prediction: Real Madrid 3-1 Manchester City

Olympique Lyonnais vs Juventus F.C. on Wednesday, 26th of February 2020, 21:00 ECT

Lyon will welcome Juventus at Parc Olympique Lyonnais, France on Wednesday night. This is the sides' fifth match, all in the last six years. Juve won three of the first four fixtures, including a pair of 1-0 victories in France. Lyon are winless against Juventus in European competition (D1 L3), losing both of their home games against the Italian side by the same 0-1 scoreline.

Lyon have won 2 of their last 6 matches, including 2 draws against Strasbourg and Amiens. Lyon squeezed into the last 16 as Group G runners-up having picked up eight points from their six games, one more than both Benfica and Zenit. With this result, Lyon have reached the knockout stages of the Champions League more times than any other French club (11). However, it’s been 10 years since they progressed past the round of 16 and they have scored only 3 goals in their last 9 knockout games in the competition (W1 D2 L6). In addition, Lyon will be without Memphis Depay who ruptured his cruciate ligament in December, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

As for Juventus, they won 3 of their last 6 matches. In terms of the Champions League, The Bianconeri won five of their six Group D games to finish six points clear at the top. Juventus will be looking to reach the quarter-finals of the Champions League for a fourth consecutive season. Cristiano Ronaldo is almost certain to start. Last year a well-rested Ronaldo hit a hat-trick when they fought against Atletico Madrid. Having missed a few games in the league CR7 will be raring to go in Lyon. In addition, veteran defender Giorgio Chiellini has returned to the side in recent weeks.

This will be a tough match for Lyon considering that Juventus are unbeaten in eight matches against French sides, home and away, since a 2-0 loss at Bordeaux in the 2009/10 group stage.

Possible line-ups

Juventus: Szczesny; Danilo, Chiellini, Bonucci, Sandro; Pjanic, Matuidi, Ramsey, Betancur; Dybala, Ronaldo.

Lyon: Lopes, Rafael, Marcelo, Andersen, Tete; Caqueret, Terrier, Aouar; Traore, Dembele, Cornet

Prediction: Lyon 0-2 Juventus

Qualification for Bayern Munich and Chelsea is already over, the matter is almost settled, except in the event of a miracle, and this is difficult at the present time because of Chelsea's failure in the results and performance, but for Barcelona and Napoli , we have to expect everything, Barca always suffers from receiving goals, having a fragile defense system, and any goal in the Camp Nou could cost Barca to get out of the Champions League.

To bad the game will not happen, the who corona issue has made everything to be suspended but we are hoping that it will change,  we still have a another 8 months for the year to end and so we need to check if they will extend the whole season and  try to play the UEFA because unlike the premier legue, the winner in UEFA must be determined, there is no points rather playing and making sure you get the winner
