Not much of a competitive gamer although I do play games on steam and mobile. I tried looking at many games on twitch and I simply don't have the understanding to analyst the game properly from experts view. Some games I understand what action is going on but anybody can understand that after being shot by huge gun you are dead 😂

So if you are bettor on esports, what advice would you give me to learn the skill?

I'm taking example for CS:GO Esports.

You can look their stats up for example : ADR or "Average damage per round" on CS:GO, or team recent performance between teams that they fought with. It also can be team speciality about the strats, meta, and some understanding about the map. Crucial part was decision making from the team itself, and what they gonna do in the match between enemy team.

Each games having different mechanics also, and you can look up players mechanical skills about how much they know the fundamental, tricks, or it can be how you control the characters, every shots, crosshair, controlling spray, and more stuff to look up!

Because we still in the gambling contexts, any data just helps us to know who is with better odds, but can't really tell you that you gonna win easy by knowing the data.

For Dota 2 or League of Legends, they still having many mechanics and stuff to learn with, and sometimes, these games can't really to be predictable between underdogs or favorites.

It still depends on luck sometimes. Maybe like 60 analytics and 40 lucks from 100.

This sounds like great advice.

I have seen more successful Sports bettors that Casino players... don’t think that’s a coincidence as the Sports bets being placed are always more purposeful with more thought behind every single bet (since the stake is usually larger).

For professional Sports-betting, are there any other factors that they consider apart from the ones that you have mentioned?

the possible way to know what you're betting on esports is team analysis, knowing their history matches (  if they suck at this map or the team that theyre facing on is bad, and vice versa).

ANNNNDDDd... if you're lazy to analyze about their plays, I know a youtuber that gives you the best predictions (csgo only). Even if you dont know how csgo works, you just want profit without knowing it, go here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT47arjNoZLRNFb7OL4jtQg (this guy has 71% winrate on betting predictions, and I almost tripled my money when I stumbled upon this youtuber. He's not well known, but it will mostly guaranteed that your profit will be tremendous than what youre expecting.

am i out of the topic??

The same way that you'd take on regular sports betting. Watch the tournaments and familiarize yourself with the winning teams and rosters. You don't necessarily need to know how the actual game works but then you'll need to rely on stats and a math betting approach. Also find some subreddits or whatever where people discuss esports. You should honestly spend years watching esports before placing bets unless you're willing to sacrifice a few bankrolls to gain experience a little quicker. Good luck!

Also I don't recommend live betting unless you actually understand what you're watching. Juice gets insane in live betting and you need to know when comebacks are possible and what they look like.

I really don't know anything about esports.

Me too, I don't know much about esports. My advice would be to follow professional esports tipsters to get an idea on what to take into consideration before placing your bet. I used to follow this guy’s tips https://bet-ibc.com/tip/dark-passage-istanbul-fastpay-wildcats/

Betting on league and dota is about understanding the current meta of the game. Some teams excel at certain drafts. Meaning the champs they pick relates to the playstyle. It's a pretty fun thing to get into but it's hopeless unless you understand that. Watch games play the game are ways to get into it however
