Huge problem with Stake originals

Featured Comment

Posted (edited)

So I feel like I just got scammed on dice, and I wanted to perform a test to see if my thoughts are valid.  I recently had a huge losing streak in an absurdly short amount of time at 3.3x multiplier.  I wanted to run an autobet of 10000 bets, at 1.80x multiplier to see if I would have a longer winning streak, or a longer losing streak.  turns out, stake is 1 of the only crypto sites that doesn't keep track of your biggest win/loss streak during an autobet session.  this is the single most important piece of information you need when testing strategies and they are hiding it.  I am almost positive I've been scammed here.  I lost my balance in 15 to 30 min and I had double the balance I normally do, and usually I cam run my strat for 10+hrs a day for a week straight with a smaller balance on other crypto sites.  I am 100% done here, I believe they alter the provably fair results, I want to know if you agree/disagree, and give me your thoughts on stake hiding win/loss streaks.

odds of something happening consecutively don't matter, it's technically the chance of it happening once each time that does. Imagine, like in statistics, a pool of inputs to a probability. There are basically millions, billions, of bets that will ever be made on that specific probability, and as time goes on, the chance of a "streak" of some sort increases, whether it's a winning or losing one - deviations from the norm.

There is always an algorithm finder at Stake, that's well known. Once you make a profitable strategy, Stake (as well as another casinos), read what will be the next moves (algorithm sequence), and once you repeat the same steps, Stake will break that algorithm by breaking your balance, since they cannot allow a 100% profitable strategy because... It will be a big loss for the casino. Remind that this example is more likely to happen at Stake originals, since they are the ones who create the seed, the ones that set the "rng" at dice, etc.

My advice is that you could play long bet systems at originals, but make a stop-win, stop-loss. Always!

Regards.

Hello. I want to note something important for everyone who reads this.

To complicate the interface with a huge amount of information does not make sense. Casino is a game of luck. Entertainment should remain that way. You are given a chance to get your piece of the pie. The key concept is 'chance'.

If you need some special data for your strategies (then this hints that you are smart enough to find and form them in the desired format). Use a bot, it's all there.

The Stake cannot change the results of bets because they are pre-generated in the server seed and client seed.

Speaking of the loosestreak you can get... use this formula:
targetX * 25.6 = maxloosestreak

Best of luck 🍀

adding a win/loss streak is not adding a 'huge' amount of information and shouldn't confuse even the stupidest of people.  there is literally no information on the graph besides your total wins and losses.  Do you think other casinos added the win/loss streak because they had nothing better to do? have you ever discussed limbo or dice strategy with anyone? if you have, I guarantee you the topic of losing streaks came up at some point. why? because people want that information.  get it? also if stake was unable to modify results, there would definitely be some strats running for a month straight.  why do you think that doesn't happen?  for example, martingale can be done in a real casino on roulette by betting black or red and doubling your bet.  we can all agree that the casino probably has no control over where the ball lands, meaning they cannot modify the result.  so do they just let you keep using martingale to get your money back? no they don't because they have a table limit of how much you can bet.  here, there is no limit to how much you can bet, but somehow, everyone still loses no matter how huge the balance.  so if we are all gonna lose just by chance eventually anyways, why do casinos have limits but provably fair games do not? if the outcome isn't modified as they claim, they would have a bet limit just like a real casino. I understand casinos are operating to make money and that's fine, but to try and make everyone believe it is totally random is both dishonest, and a bit funny.  if you could use martingale limitlessly on roulette and started with a $0.01 bet, you would never see a long enough losing streak to go broke. probably never in your entire lifetime and that is betting a full penny. remember, here you can bet a tiny fraction of a penny which should make it nearly impossible to lose

Does anyone agree with the mod? do you guys think adding a win/loss streak would clutter up the userface as he claims, or would it be beneficial to the customers?

mod, I don't think anyone will agree with you.

i agree that a streak counter should be added, i like the graph that shows your results during a current session. now the part were you hit a terrible losing streak and lost your balance so your conclusion is Stake must be cheating i find ridiculous youre gambling, youre running an auto bet strategy its bound to happen. your statement "i can run this strategy for 10+ hours a day at other casinos" is not supportive of your assertion that your auto bet strategy cannot lose or should not have lost in the time it was running, if anything it means that you ran your strategy so long you finally hit this losing streak that statistically was bound to happen sooner or later. you lost because you played long enough for it to happen. next time it happens will you accuse the casino youre playing at of cheating? probably, cause in your mind your strategy cant lose which is not true.

Okay, so there are a couple things wrong with this - you need to do some research into Gamblers Fallacy.

Quote

The gambler's fallacy is the belief that the probability for an outcome after a series of outcomes is not the same as the probability for a single outcome. The gambler's fallacy is real and true in cases where the events in question are independent and identically distributed.

In any Stake Original game, or any casino for that matter - previous outcomes have zero relation to future outcomes.

Yes, the probability still becomes more likely but it doesn't matter in the slightest, the Monte Carlo Effect based on a roulette wheel that landed on black 26 times in a row which should be theoretically impossible.

Gambling isn't predictable and should only be looked at as a source of entertainment, the problem is people let the source of entertainment destroy their lives by gambling themselves into debt.

Does Stake manipulate their Stake Originals games - I don't know - I genuinely don't. But the longest losing streak I've had at 2x is 20 in a row. You're telling me that you got to 30 at 3x and you're like nope the game is rigged? In theory my 20 at 2x just turned into 60 losses at 3x

What MainVane said and the Mod

Over the about a week, I've made and refined a sheet to rough in a good estimate where my sweet spots are in dice so I can refine the strategy more. Do I expect 0.001% probability to happen? Yes... Very yes. I setup a bankroll for a 18 streak fail at 2.2x and it happened twice within 100 bets. Probability and chance are different.

There is no fool proof strat, the only fool proof strat is do you have a bankroll higher than the multiplier max.
:\ naive me won 2k out of pure luck the first night and then proceed to lose most of it experimenting with strats and refining my spreadsheet

I thought I was smart - I calculated I needed 400k of whatever in order to never lose because it couldn’t possibly go lower than 3X 17 times in a row( 300and something thousand perpetual 17th bet). Guess what happened? I lost all of my dogecoin on crash that way, and then again on dice. I am smarter now. What’s funny is it only takes one single 17 loss streak to lose half of your entire balance and all of your previous earnings (if doubling bet every loss).

yeah. Don’t try to game the system. You will always lose.

My suggestion to all real players. We should create some portal or something similar, to report all scamy bets, sites, or situation where we are robbered. Scammy sites should be closed, and their owners in jail. What do u think? I have recorded videos of my bets on HiLo on this site. Game is a bruttal scam, i have been robbered a many times there and i want to post those videos for others, to know.

Do you really believe that if you had the statistics .. you had a 100 percent profit strategy? Even a real casino like Blackjack and Roulette does not have a 100 percent guaranteed profit strategy.

If there was a profit strategy all the casinos in the world would close.
Gambling is generally a pleasure and not a substitute for work.

I do not understand why they do not give you the statistics you ask for .. but it hurts me that you think to yourself that if they did give you then you had a winning strategy.
Need luck and not strategy .. need pleasure in gambling and not dream of being rich from gambling.
Good luck my dear friend :)

Casino is a game of luck

I agree with this. There are a lot of people who are lucky and win big because let accepts the truth, this is a game that can take some risks.

All you had to do here is change your seed.. The only possible way for them to manipulate would be to know what seed you had or were going to have before hand. Since seeds can be changed at any time thats basically impossible. Next time you feel like you are being "Scammed" change the seed. Imagine you are playing scratch off lottery tickets. Each bet is a ticket. the seed is the roll of tickets. The results for each ticket are made individually of one another, but are on the same roll . If you change seeds you drop the roll you are holding and pick up a totally different one from somene else and continue where they left off. since no one knows which games will be winning on which seeds its impossible to "scam"
you. Also think about this. Are you making basically millions worth of bets every day? If not do you really think an auditable system which has to show full transparency and demonstrate accountability to be legally operated in various countries, would risk everything to scam you in dice? It would be basically the most ineffective plot ever. You arent being scammed, switch seeds at your leisure and come back if you find it is still a problem after a few sessions.

It helps to play plinko and turn on instant results. You are getting the same thing whether or not you watch the balls go down. The balls are just entertainment, you just scratch tickets faster.
