SmellsCash13

about 10 hours a day

The job is to keep the chat in order. No rassism. No caps, ensure friendly handling.

I enjoy communicating with people and I love Stake.

I've never been muted or banned.

I wasn't a moderator before that.  But at work, I am also in contact with my customers online every day

2. Around 8-10hrs on weekdays, less on weekends

3. A moderator has a multitude of tasks. They are responsible for the overall environment and "feeling" of a chatroom. This includes enforcing the chat rules, but also judging chat situations by their best ability to moderate disputes. They are there to help newbies with questions, but also take part in conversations with everybody. Since they are in an official capacity of Stake, they explain and help with Stake specific news and decisions. And they take care of users, by e.g. referring them to gambler aware pages if necessary.

4. I have experienced the German chatroom to be an awesome mixture of joking, serious discussion and overall good atmosphere. I would like to help out in those times when moderation is required (rule breaking, begging, harsh disputes) as well as be a part of the Stake team that makes the chatroom such a good environment.

5. No

6. Two years as chat moderator and live-support member at DuckDice

2. On workdays I'm online somewhere between 6 to 8 hours on days off usually more.

3. Most importantly a moderator makes sure that the chat rules provided by stake are followed by every player. This includes taking necessary actions against users that do not follow them like warnings and mutes. A moderator also ensures that the general attitude in chat is positve and every player feels welcome, regardless of personal preference and VIP status. He/she also helps with questions from players as good as possible or redirects them to sources that can answer the question e.g. live support.

4. I'd like to become a moderator for the german chat, because we have a yet small but great and friendly community and with it growing everyday, due to new players joining, I think that a second moderator is  required to make sure that the german communitiy continues to be friendly and awesome.

5. no

6. No, but since I have been working in a land based casino as a dealer for almost 5 years now, I know the gambling "industry" from both sides, which will definitley help me in understanding players and their problems and concerns.

1. Dogecoinbrot

2. mostly between 6 - 8 hours | weekend between 10 - 12 hours

3. The task is to keep the chat free of explicit content, spam, harassment, racism, beggars and not to forget to keep rainfarmer/abuser away. Its important that everyone, regardless of their VIP rank, is following the chat rules. Also in my opinion its import to entertain the chat by doing rollhunts or trivias or even having some discussions about interesting topics.

4. I want to become a mod because firstly, i want to support our current mod RealCoinMarcel as the german community is growing recently and definitely will grow even more in the future. secondly, since 2018 I'm almost every day in the chat and help new user on how the basics on stake work. And as mentioned earlier to do some rollhunts and trivias for the chat.

5. no

6. I'm a mod on a twitch channel (not that big), I was a chat moderator on some telegram groups with around 8k user

2. usually about 5-6 hours, sometimes even more

3. A moderator should ensure that users follow the chat rules, to keep the chat free from any disturbing content like begging, scaming or private disputes between users. He can mute or ban users if they don't follow the rules. Nevertheless, he should communicate diplomatically and sensitively and not allow himself to be influenced too much by his own emotions. Main goal is to create a good atmosphere so that users like to stay on stake for a long time 😉

4. I like the german chat on stake. In the last 2 years a nice community has formed here that is constantly growing. It's fun to chat with so many like-minded crazy people. I want to become a mod here, because I would like to do something to further develop this community. And most important reason: I could annoy RealCoinMarcel even better than now 🤪😘

5. Yes, I was muted once in my stake life, about 2 years ago for posting a forbidden link. It was stupid.. But I learned from this and I never did something like this again 😇

6. No. But why not trying new things 😃

Firstly i want to state my motivation - not to win any points ( in fact im quite certain that this alone disqualifies me, since it may sound passive-aggressive or inmature. Nevertheless - its the truth. And i always tell the truth - no matter the consequences ( not saying this is intelligent or sometimes appropriate - it simply is WHAT I AM

Experiencieng first hand the brutal and just random injustice rained down by the current Moderator "Mr.Marcel" -  and feeling the almost unbarable sadness, being ripped out of my Group of special People and having to watch from the sidelines.....

⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕⁕

1.  My Username is QueenEv1l   (Sugardaddy of voerde/Member of the NACHTWACHE/ Rainer of the poor / currently exiled..)

2. I more or less spend every second in chat, as soon as "Marcel" leaves the Chat ^^  I would say im normally online from 1am - 7am - every day.

3. Of course the most basic task of a MOD is to enforce the Chatrules or make people aware of them when they about to break them - and if they persist in doing so - placing them in the penalyty box for to give them the chance to do some self-evaluating. However a mod should understand the dynamics, the people and his main goal should be to be an integrated part of the group and not some Referee or "Stasi-Guy"

4. I am well known by everyone that is on in the timeframe from 1am-8am and i would say respected in my own way.  Another reason is truthfully that noone of us ( the 10-20 ppl of Misfits that are on at this time) want some " outsider" to suddenly destroy the absolutly fantastic environment and little family we have created - but need someone who knows the dynamic, the players of course in bounderies.

5.  I am banned, warned and muted RIGTH NOW -    To be frank - and so ?  Why would it make me more qualified or less qualified for the job, just because the current mod simply lacks the intellectual and emotional grasp that he would have needed to understand the dynamic of the " NACHTWACHE"

I believe actually that the talent of ( 99% of the time ) walking just on the edge of being muted/etc. and also the weigth that comes with beeing banned makes me EXTRA qualified since i understand the   scope and impact of it for the user.

6. Yes in multiple forums/plattforms/ my first gig was in some IRC Channel 10+ years ago ^^  Anyway,i have my own company, hold 3 Bachelor Degrees - on in Behavioural Psychology, Speak 4 languages fluently and apparently have an IQ of >145, and on top a few diagnosed behavioural disorders just to spice it up a bit !

What is your Stake username?

Hi people! I'm YZY (Stake ID : YZYETH). I'm fluent in english & german , a sportsbook & casino fanatic & I always loved helping people, sooooo.... I got pretty excited when I saw this blog post. I think that for over an year now all my bets have been placed on stake, where I also made a lot of friends.

How much time on average do you spend on German-Chat every day?

I don't spend that much time , unless I'm curious at what bets people are placing, what they are doing in general, or wanting to have a chit-chat with other stake fans.

Can you briefly explain what the job of a moderator is?

A lot of people would think it's a simple job. A person who is there to get a request from a user and fix it. In my past experiences as a mod I learned that you can be  THE mod if you actually try to make the users day better & which in my opinion will make your day better aswell. Besides solving the problem , ask people how they're feeling , take part in community activites for people to get to know you & so on. You are a "problemsolver" in a large community , but try to be more than that, try to be the nice guy who stake users can always rely on.

Why do you want to become a moderator on this chat?

I wish I could sum it all up , but I think that it is impossible. Firstly I love Stake & everything related to it. As i've already mentioned before I know & like a lot of users & also love the staff. I have quite some free time at the moment & I would love to fill it up taking care of the german chat on stake. Also during in the long time that i've been gambling I learned most of the casino games, know  how all the live games work and know the tehnical terms for slots. I also know and have played all the stake originals.

Have you ever been warned, muted, or banned?

If my memory isn't failing me, no. Buuuut maybe I was warned once or twice ? No idea to be honest with you.

Have you ever been a moderator on any other platform?

I have done the moderater work for quite some time. Starting since I was a child moderating Minecraft Forums up to a couple years ago when I was moderating the biggest CS:GO gambling website at the time. I've moderated small forums & also websites with hundreds of active users at all times of the day & very different topics & I never felt like it was "work" but a pleasuring experience.

Would love to see that notification from live support

Good Luck to all participants and to the staff in choosing the best.
